Picanha and several other cuts of meat, rice with black beans and caipirinhas. The traditional Brazilian flavors at a Brazilian Steakhouse in Hong Kong!
It is called Braza Churrascaria – Brazilian Steakhouse and is located at 3/F, Grand Progress Building in Lan Kwai Fong.
Managed by an enthusiastic and attentive Argentinean – Maximiliano – this restaurant is more than a steakhouse: it’s a traditional Brazilian Rodízio and is the only one in the area of Hong Kong, Macau and Mainland China with the Rodízios’ authentic method.
We discovered it by accident, as we were walking around this area, determined to give a break from traditional Asian food. The foreign name on the street light box caught our attention and we decided to go up to 3rd floor and have a look on it.
To our surprise the space was quite large, well decorated and with people queuing up at the door entrance at lunch time…
Salad bar loaded with fresh salads, soup and signature Brazilian dishes and a friendly smile from all busy staff.
Whether at lunch or dinner, the way to identify whether or not you want to be served with Rodízio meats is by using a kind of cards placed on the table: Green – “I am still hungry” / Red – “No more thank you”.
The lunch menu costs HKD 138 and consists of salads and signature Brazilian dishes. If you would like you can add the selected meat Rodízio of beef, pork and chicken for extra HKD 50 – totally recommended.
If you add a drink and a dessert (if there is still room for it), a further HKD 20 and HKD 38 are charged, respectively.
The dinner menu is a whole new level! For HKD 398 you get all the appetizers and side dishes as well as salads, specialties and, of course, the Rodízio – including the traditional and tasty Picanha!
Alcoholic free flow and/or lemonades & juices free flow may be added at the price of HKD 220 and HKD 118, respectively.
We highly recommend: for the expat community in Macau and Hong Kong it is an excellent option to escape from the usual Asian food, for meat and food lovers, due the quality and variety served here, with a special focus on the tasty Picanha and for those how simply like to eat-eat-eat you can do it so in this continuous all-you-can-eat manner.
Give it a try!
